nice tut man, you uploaded this ages ago but the freeze you had trouble naming was a ‘hang glide freeze’

    keep it up :D

Hey man thanks for the comment homie
to answer ur question…I don’t think your shoulder should be hurting you…it depends on how ur doin it i guess, I’d have to see…if u have a came send me a vid so i can give you some pointers…and in terms of muscles naw man you don’t need big muslces bro…if you look at a lot of breakers a lot of them are lanky…it’s all about strength not size so do push ups/ body weight exercises…you;’d be surprised…most body builders can’t do push ups

nice video man, im a beginner bboy and it benefited me a lot. Just a question im right handed and when i try the baby freeze my right shoulder starts to hurt. Is this normal, also im a pretty skinny dude so i don’t have a lot of muscle, does that make a difference. thanks

I ripped them while practice windmills

why is your pants have a hole in it?

  • Tactix87 said:

    @jarrenh1 Right handed

  • jarrenh1 said:

are you right handed or left handed?

  • darkreign23534 said:

This really helped, Im not good at balancing at those other stuff you did to help my baby freezes but I can balance for a long time doing a baby freeze. Does that happen to other people?

i just started bboy 3 days ago and iam able to do it on my left hand for like 10 sec now .. but on my rite(my strong) hand i somehow fail.. strange

  • Tactix87 said:

    haha no problem :P

thank you soooooooo much !! you rocks !!!!!

  • Tactix87 said:

    Thanks homie…glad it helped
I had the same difficulty at first too! and honestly its a matter of stretching for it to get ur body to do that while in a freeze position like that…use the technique i mentioned at 4:30 and it should help…try bringing ur free hand closer so ur leg doesn’t have to force its way up so much

  • iAZKevin said:

Hey, i got the turtle, and everything down,
I just can’t seem to get my right leg on my left elbow, do you have any tips for that?
    Oh and great vid btw.
Easy to understand, beginner friendly ;D

    greeeat!!!

  • Tactix87 said:

haha yeah man it’s normal…ur going to struggle with it for awhile until you get it…cause ur body needs to build the appropriate muscles to allow you to do those kind of moves…so trust me when i say “Practice makes perfect” is not an understatement…do some crunches to build up your abs if you wish (It’ll help)…good luck man…feel free to post a video response of ur progress man…good luck

  • Crimewave9 said:

    Thanks for the tips man
i will practice hard and let you know how i did

    one last question lol
the one hand stab i can do (crab freeze if you prefer), but i need to really tense my abs a LOT so i can actually lift my legs. That’s normal right?

  • Tactix87 said:

to answer your 2nd question…Workin out is beneficial in breakin’ but when i say this, ppl hit the gym right after and bench press..but hitting the gym won’t do anything for you because breakin’ is all body weight and believe it or not, most body builders can’t even do Chin ups. To get strong for breaking do isolated work outs(body weight exercises) like push ups, handstand push ups, pull ups, dips etc..and just keep practicing.Check out my turtle tutorial on my page it has a few workouts

  • Tactix87 said:

Well turtles aren’t really a requirement just good to have so you’re comfortable stabbing on both hand….Definitely should have the Crab freeze down though(freezing on one hand)

  • Crimewave9 said:

    hey tactix 2 questions

should start with baby freeze first or turtle freeze?

    and second questions is

is strength extremely vital? like as in do i have to actually do heaps of working out of my strength beforehand in order to do the freezes?

  • bboyZRo1 said:

    Thanks man

  • Tactix87 said:

it’s all a matter of comfort….you should be able to hold one (2 handed comfortably for atleast a good 5-10 seconds) same with a one handed just practice holding it everyday to build strength, that’s what i did and then my arms developed the muscles i needed to hold the freeze…take a while but you’ll get it guy

  • bboyZRo1 said:

How long should I be able to hold my turtle? (2 handed and 1 handed)

  • Tactix87 said:

As cliche’ as it sounds it honestly just takes practice
when i first started breakin and tried doing this move… I litterally spent 30 minutes each day just holding myself in a turtle freeze and trying to force my legs up..i kept doing this and kept struggling but all that struggle began building muscle in my back and i was actually conditioning my body to adapt to the move so just keep at it and good luck :)
