You’re right. But since that isn’t her child she has no say in the vasiline thing. But yes… vasline clogging.

you said earlier that you just put vaseline in your hair!! If you plan for it to grow then thats not a good idea.vaseline is a petroleum, and it will clog the pores on the scalp causing the hair not to grow out of it.

Use a spray bottle to dampen hair and then use conditioner and some kind of natural oil like coconut or extra virgin olive oil, both found at WalMart. But always use water to damped before doing any kind of styling

i used vaseline for my daughters hair when she was a baby- no problem with growth. it was actually a WHOLE lot longer than most her age. I don’t see the problem if you wash it. I didn’t grease her scalp with it…

If you have a Walgreens near you they have a Vaseline-like product from Wlagreens label that is made with Shea Butter instead of Petroleum..and it’s not the kinda that sits on your hair, it absorbs more readily than str8 shea butter, it’s a blend.

Please don’t put vasaline in here hair. It will smother her scalp and will not allow the hair to grow. Please no vasaline.

I also have eczema and since going natural someone I discovered that veg glycerin works wonders on your hair as well as on eczema. Since most naturals have glycerin in their arsenal you can give it a try. I normally mix 6-8 parts distilled water and one part glycerin and spray that on freshly washed skin. It keeps the skin constantly hydrated

    1 cup raw shea
    1/2 cup coconut oil
    1/4 vegetable glycerin
1-2 tablespoons of pure honey (It binds moisture)
    (optional but highly recommended)
    1 tablespoon of each
    jojoba w/vitamin E
    grapeseed
    olive oil
mix together with blinder. If you don’t have one (like me) you should melt thie hard products then mix. find an empty sealable container, and enjoy
